People who become part of the Church of Satan do but see the nature of Satan as a helpful adversary to fight the rigid suppression of individual instincts they think is a corrupting influence on Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. In spite of ordinary cultural perception, which is occasionally mired in superstitious fearfulness, members of the Church of Satan don't view themselves as"evil" or perhaps anti-Christian, but instead because proponents of free and natural human intuition celebrated in defiance of both repressions.
